Fun at Gram's

The girls always enjoy a visit to Gram's house. It is a big, old house and Gram let's them do whatever:)
Faith found Gram's old time phone and pretended to call us-we were right there on the couch:)

The oversized bean bag is always fun:) The girls love to jump all over it!

The organ was new for them this trip--and theu loved it :) (my sister and I used to play it when we were younger)

...they are always sad to leave Gram!

Starting the season!

We like to start our Christmas season after thanksgiving day by making a gingerbread house. Now, we just buy the kits---we don't actually bake the thing!
While I build the house, the kids decorate some cookies and eat them while they wait--patiently!!

Finally, the best part for the kids---decorating the house!

...notice they all have full mouths--1 piece for the house, 1 piece for the mouths:)

The final piece and the proud artists:)

..oh, then we eat it!! The dads appear for this:)

Thanksgiving 08

We took a trip to Pittsburgh to spend the holiday with the Bumblis side of the family. We stayed with my brother and his family. They have a 9 month old and a 3year old:) I could post an entire book of pictures, but I'll spare you this time. I have selected my favorites from the trip...

After a 12hr car trip, the best thing for a sore bum was running around playing super heroes with Domenic!

Preparation of the meal began early--a brined turkey(delicious), stuffing, sweet potatoe casserole, mashed potatoes, marinated green beans(awesome), rolls, salad, cranberries, etc

Dalaina went for seconds of stuffing - right from the bowl!

After dinner came the playin' around with everyone to work off dinner (to make room for dessert)

It was nice to spend time with the family and enjoy the company. We are truley blessed!
