I love the "unschooling" we are doing these last weeks of school. Today, we are reading the Toothpaste Millionaire. We decided to experiment with eye shadow~ as is mentioned in the book:)
I pulled out some makeup (yes, I do own some) and we got to it!
Dalaina did Faith's eyes, I did Dalaina's and Faith did mine!
...then, we moved on for a homemade toothpaste challenge!
The girls each got to make a small tub of toothpaste and choose the color.
We flavored it with peppermint extract---then,we moved to the test phase:)
It turns out that store bought toothpaste is preferred---but they had fun and learned lots:)
Did you know that the first toothbrushes were made from pig hairs?---thank goodness nylon came along!!!!!!!!!!!!
