Finished objects!

So, I am way behind on this here blog---school is in, work, etc....here are a few thrift store finds-shaped up with some paint.

This old time mirror got a fresh coat of ivory paint and some chalkboard spray and has been repurposed to fit our needs in the schoolroom! We have really missed having a chalkboard:)

I forgot the before of this little cabinet--but it was brown wood paneling. A coat of crushed toffee and it is more suited to our decor now:) It makes the perfect spot for our extras in the dining room.

This brown shelf (which is quite heavy by the way) was just what our cluttered, disorganized school room needed!-- I was so tired of working around the printers and games and books, there was no elbow room!
After 2 coats of crushed toffee--voila! Now all of the desk cluttering things have a space of their own-out of my way!
...printers, books, games, etc ...and now it doesn't blend in with the floor color:)

This table used to be in our living room, then moved to the girls room. However, the brown did not suit the pink princess theme in there. So,....

.... a little paint, some jewels, some glitter and creativity, and some little hands (the girls), we made it a beautiful piece of art!

...looks much better in their room now --and they just love it! It was a fun project to do together:)
