Cake Class

I am so excited~  I am enrolled in a beginning cake decorating class:)  So, every Monday night, I go to class to learn decorating tips!!  My frst class was this week.  We learned the basics of cake baking, cooling, splitting, making a well, filling, crumb icing, final frost, how to put our bags together with the couplets, how to mix icing (with colors), and 4 different borders!

I learned the zigzag border, shells, stars, and a curvy rope design.  It was a lot of fun and I look forward to next week--we are making a wild flower:)
