Boat Parade

Each Christmas time, Gig Harbor hosts the boat parade. Most of the boats in the harbor decorate their boats with lights and parade a few laps around the harbor! Sounds like great fun--another great tradition. However, since it was still chilly, we headed to our neighbors boat parade party. They have a great view of the harbor from their deck--much warmer, plus there is food, television, and playmates....
The kids played with each other and then decorated gingerbread houses!!!! 6toddlers, each with their own plate of candy....you can imagine how that went:)

Faith, Payton, and Dalaina---shared a house to decorate.

so, it went-one peice on the house, the next peice in the mouth......

The boat parade was a bust because most of the harbor was frozen and not many boats participated. Also, the kids couldn't eat the houses because the engineer (neighbor) built them with a glue gun!!!! So, they had fun playing with friends and eating the candy!!!
They were quite hyper and we had to run them around a bit! But, overall, it was a great night:)
