Candy Cane lane
We also drove through a live nativity scene while in GH. It was the best I'd ever seen and unfortunately, I forgot the camera. The local church had a nice set up though. ... Guards greet you by asking for a count in your vehicle. Then, they let you proceed through to the village. As driving through, people are dressed as in the days of Jesus. They are approaching your vehicle trying to sell you eggs, baskets, cloths, bread, etc. There are camels and donkeys walking around, people everywhere---like a real village. Then, as you proceed out of the village to the field, you are stopped by shepherds and see three angels in white who bring news of Jesus' birth. After that, you pass by the manger scene. As you leave, you must pass through a final guard check--he checks your vehicle and asks for a count. He also asked what we call our mechanized coach-and of course I replied an automobile. We had a good time:)
It really was great and the girls loved it. Faith asked me if we could buy an egg from the one lady! My mom and I were laughing so hard, I had tears. I am not sure what would have come if I had said yes?
