I just wanted to blog about nothing for a minute. So, the girls and I baked chocolate chip cookies last night and watched The Jetsons Movie- David was at work. Oh how I miss those types of cartoons! Rosie, Astro, Judy, George and Elroy... It was great:) We are learning about the solar system next week so I thought I'd introduce the concept through a movie. Anyway, they loved it!
When it was bed time, we were ending our routine and out of nowhere Faith asked when mother's day is, and I told her. And father's day, and I told her. She then proceeds to tell me that we need a kid's day! And, I thought, hhhmmmp, okay. I asked what we would do and she said that we could get a babysitter so that we could go to the store to buy her and Dalaina gifts!
Um, I then explained that we wouldn't need a babysitter for that. I also told her that it was a great idea and that we could do it! Her eyes grew big and she cheered and jumped up and down...She wanted it to be the next day of course!
We agreed that we would choose a day on our March calendar to celebrate kids day---so, I'll keep you posted:)
Aren't kids great!!!! I love quality time with my girls:)
