We awoke in New Mexico on Saturday, Feb. 14th, and started on our journey again! First, we saw a pamphlet for The Blue Hole??? We were just a few miles from it, so we headed there 1st.
This is a large pool of water that is fed from a natural spring and it remains about 61degrees all year long. Apparently, it is a great spot for divers:) We saw 2 that morning and thought they were crazy because it was only about 35degrees outside!!!!

Anyway, we left there and continued on our journey west. We drove along historic route 66 which was cool. These are a few of the sites along the way.
not sure if you can see that small Rte 66 sign or not---but it's there:)
