Day 5--California

We woke on Monday the 16th and continued our journey north through CA. We headed to Oakland where we met up with our friends. The weather was weird--rain, sleet, snow...but ok. We saw numerous rainbows and you can imagine the joy from the girls.

Faith's face would light up, her eyes would grow large (even more than they already are) and she would just shreek with excitement!!!!

Because of the strange weather, we saw more rainbows that day than in my entire life--it was great! However, the thrill wore off with Faith. Dalaina would just smiled with each rainbow as she looked out the window:)

Our friends were gracious enough to put us up for the night! (Thanks again)

We stopped in Oakland that evening---a total of 490miles. (a short day)
